Overview & Benefits

Disability Income Advantage is guaranteed renewable to age 70. It provides a monthly benefit if you become totally disabled and unable to work due to an off-the-job injury or
sickness. In addition, partial disability benefits will also be payable if you return to work after a total disability but are able to perform only 20% to 80% of your normal work
schedule. These benefits are paid in addition to any existing coverage.


Benefit Amounts of up to 67% of your gross income per month with a maximum benefit of $5,000 per month.

14-Day Elimination Period

Benefit Period of up to one year as long as you remain totally disabled.

Pre-existing Conditions are covered after 12 months.

Pregnancy
covered as any other sickness.

Competitive premiums with a variety of payment options.

The following benefits are also included:

Waiver of Premium: Premiums will be waived after 90 days of total disability.


Terminal Illness: Provides a lump sum equal to 12 times the monthly benefit amount for diagnosis of a terminal illness made before or within 60 days of the onset of disability.


Partial Disability Income: Provides you with a benefit equal to 50% of the total disability benefit as long as you are able to perform 20% to 80% of your work schedule. The Partial Disability Benefit is payable for a maximum of 6 months.


Survivor Benefit: Provides a lump sum equal to 3 times the monthly benefit if the insured dies while receiving benefits for total disability.


Catastrophic Disability: Removes the elimination period for all disability income benefits when the insured is totally disabled regardless of time, duties or income and increases the monthly benefit by 50%.


Recurrent Disability: Waives new elimination period for total disabilities due to the same or related cause as a prior total disability and recurring within 180 days of returning to work.
