Medicare-Eligible Group Health

OPEN ENROLLMENT OCTOBER 15 - DECEMBER 31, 2022

All IBOs age 65 or older enrolled in Medicare Part A & B: Open enrollment for group retiree health and Part D Prescription Drug coverage is October 15 – December 31, 2021. Coverage is guaranteed acceptance regardless of pre-existing health conditions. If you enroll by December 31, 2022 your coverage will be effective January 1, 2023. If you enroll after December 31, you may qualify for coverage by answering a few health questions.

Medicare-eligible IBOs may take advantage of a special lower group rate on a Retiree Health plan underwritten by United American. United American has been providing coverage to supplement Medicare to individuals since Medicare was implemented in 1966.
